Summer camp provides an amazing outdoor adventure for youth to grow, learn, be responsible and have fun! Plus spending time outdoors improves mental health and physical wellbeing. Kids who grow up having access to more green space had a lower risk of mental disorders later in life. However, sleeping with gigantic wold spiders can be frightening and something as simple as a mosquito net can make the outdoors and camping less stressful and much more fun, especially for kids who have an issue with insects, bugs and spiders.
As summer draws closer, we’ve compiled some reviews from parents and Scout leaders about the SansBug. Happy bite-free camping!
“Best thing since Swiss cheese. My son used this at cub scout camp and it was the first year he stayed in his tent the whole week. The SansBug took away the fear of bugs and spiders.”
“It works great and is much more effective than the standard 4 tennis-ball-topped-PVC poles draped with bug netting. Plus if you factor the cost of buying new net and lost poles each year, this product actually saves money.”
“This product was bought for my son who is in the Boy Scouts and was highly recommended by his troop leaders. It was well worth the money. Last year’s camp, he came back covered in bites.”
“There were flying cockroach-looking-bugs that came out at night, buy my daughter and I slept securely knowing no bugs were going to crawl on us.”
“Fit perfectly in the boy scout tents. None of the scout masters had seen anything like this before and commented that their draped mosquito net worked just fine. By the end of the week each scout master asked me to send him the link to where I purchased this item.”
“I just got back from dropping my son off at Boy Scout camp – and found that these do indeed fit perfectly in the canvas scout tents. I had been a bit afraid that these might be too big after seeing the footprint the first time we opened one at home, but found that they are just right to fit the cots and tents provided by the scout camp. Most of the boys in my son’s troop brought these this year, and they are the envy of the camp. Thumbs up!”
So don’t forget your mosquito net when you’re spending some time outdoors or going camping. With the SansBug, there are no knots to tie or strings to suspend. Just toss it up and voila! A freestanding mosquito net tent!
