Camp Sequassen

Hello SansBug,

Our leaders and I would like to thank you for helping us out with such a great product. The mosquito tents kept the bugs out at Camp Sequassen and saved the leaders from having to do bug sweeps each night. We did a overnight canoe trip to Curatole Island in which we had limited space to get our gear there. The scouts packed up their tents and put them in their canoes and took them with them. The bug tents were a extremely easy way of getting shelter to the island by canoe. I attached a couple pictures. In the future we will be offering this great product to all of our new scouts each year.  Thanks again.

Camp Sequassen, Connecticut Yankee Council’s flagship camp, is located about an hour from New Haven, CT at the foot of the Berkshires. The camp consists of 600 acres of forest with almost half a mile of shoreline on West Hill Pond, one of the most beautiful spring fed lakes in Connecticut.  Unlike Camp T. Brady Saunders, the canvas tents on wooden platforms at Camp Sequassen appear to be narrower so to optimize the space and have more room between the cots, it makes sense to rotate the cots 90 degrees like in the first pic so that the slope of the SansBug aligns with the slope of the canvas tent.
